The Create Your Dreams Award Statue
(affectionately known as "Cyd")
Renowned Sculptor and jewelry designer, Paula Thompson, was commissioned by MIBN to design and create the Create Your Dreams Awards Statue.
Her design perfectly encompasses all that a working mother is.
The design is continuous, energetic, and graceful denoting character, balance, strength, and nurturing. Porcelain was the chosen medium because like a woman, porcelain is delicate and beautiful, yet it is surprisingly one of the strongest and most durable substances on earth.
