Small Business Insurance Plan Fails in Washington - The plan that would have allowed small businesses to offer lower cost health insurance has failed. The Health Insurance Marketplace Modernization and Affordability Act would have allowed businesses as a group through trade associations and business groups.

The bill, known as The Enzi Bill after author Michael Enzi, a Republican Senator from Wyoming, was supported by many business groups; however, state attorneys general and the Amercian Cancer Society were against the bill because the bill would have allowed insurers to sidestep state guidelines that mandate coverage for treatments like diabetes, infertility, mental illness, and cancer screenings like mammographyies.

Small business owners and sole-proprietors without insurance need affordable coverage, and despite this setback, Senator Enzi is not giving up.
Give Senator Enzi your feedback on this bill fax him at 202- 228-0359 or email him at senator_enzi@exchange.senate.gov

Keeping toes in tip-top summer shape:

~Don’t go barefoot - if enclosed shoes are uncomfortable, try flip-flops.

~Apply sunscreen to feet - especially the tops and between the toes, 20 to 30 minutes before going outside.

~At the end of the day - massage your feet with foot cream and keep them elevated for at least 10 minutes to ease stress on the circulatory system.
