Whenever your kids are out of control, you can take comfort from the thought that even God's omnipotence did not extend to his kids.
After creating Heaven and Earth, God created Adam and Eve. And the first thing He said to them was: "Don't."
"Don't what?", Adam replied.
"Don't eat the forbidden fruit."
"Forbidden fruit? Really? Where is it?"
"It's over there," said God, wondering why He hadn't stopped after making the elephants.
A few minutes later God saw the kids having an apple break and He was angry.
"Didn't I tell you not to eat that fruit?" the First Parent asked.
"Uh huh," Adam replied.
"Then why did you?"
"I dunno," Adam answered.
God's punishment was that Adam and Eve should have children of their own.
Thus the pattern was set and it has never changed. But there is reassurance in this story.
If you have persistently and lovingly tried to give them wisdom and they haven't taken it, don't be hard on yourself.
If God had trouble handling children, what makes you think it would be a piece of cake for you?

Fox TV Wants Moms
The hit Fox show "Trading Spouses," is looking for a well-to-do urban family to come onto the show. The family must be a husband and wife and at least one child between the ages of 6 and 18, and no children under the age of 6. It helps if the family is colorful and have strong personalities and beliefs. The family selected that appears on the show receives up to $50,000 for a 7-10 day shoot.

Survey Results Are In
In a year long survey MIBN has been doing to find out what are the top challenges for Mom Business Owners, the results are in:
31.3% of you said that Marketing was your greatest business challenge.
21.9% of our members said that Family/Work/Life Balance as their greatest challenge. 15.6% said that Raising Capital was their greatest challenge, and surprisingly, only 12.5% of our members said that Healthcare was their greatest challenge as a mom business owner.

Balance Tip - Self-Empowerment means giving yourself the skills to live the most fulfilled life possible. It also means learning from past experiences and fully appreciating the present.
Appreciation Step #1 - Write down your contribution to the important relationships in your life. Do you allow the relationships to control you or are they a win-win for everyone?
Appreciation Step #2 - Do you listen to the silence? Do you know what's in your heart?
Appreciation Step #3 - What kind of person do you really want to be? What's stopping you if you're not that person today? What do you intend to do about it?
