What do you do to take care of yourself and your family?

There are a few different ways I take care of myself and my 3 teen daughters. I set out each week to spend at least 1 hour with each daughter... whether we work out together, cook dinner together, play a board game, go for ice cream, or just sit on the couch and talk, this is our time to reconnect and talk about the things that are important to them as individuals.

BakeMeAWish.com offers corporate loyalty programs for organizations to reward customers or employees with gourmet cake gifts.

What's the best business advice you ever received?
The best business to be in is the relationship business. It doesn't matter what industry you're in, people enjoy working with people they can have a working relationship with. The best advise, ever, was given to me by Susan, my old next door neighbor. She said "your kids will never remember how many times they ate McDonalds. All they'll remember is how many times you were there to share it with them."

What do you do to take care of yourself and your family? I left the corporate world three years ago because I got tired of being told that I couldn't be both a mom to four kids and a CPA. I decided to prove them wrong. Now, I don't miss a baseball game. I work from home when my kids are sick. My oldest son works with me in my office during the summer. I have very reduced hours at certain times of the year. And we all have dinner together - even during tax season.

What is your business? I am CEO of my own accounting firm.

What's the best business advice you ever received that you would like to pass on to others? I am a CPA specializing in taxation and business consultation. I work with individuals and businesses of all sizes. But my niche is the small business owner. Not only because I relate to them, but because I respect anyone that follows their passion and takes control over their life.The best business advice I ever received was to realize my own net worth both financially and emotionally. One hundred people may tell you that your services are the best, and just one may say something negative. Yet it is that one negative person that sticks in your mind. This lowers your confidence level. You have to forget that person. Remember what you have accomplished in your life and career to get to where you are today. Charge your clients what your experience and level of services are worth. Surround yourself with a network of people and clients that appreciate you and know your true value. When I did this, good things happen. I was in control.

What do you do to take care of yourself and your family? The cruise vacations.

What is your business? I sell all makes and models (new & used) cars, trucks, vans and suv's.
My company offers a complete personal car concierge service to individuals and companies. Our pricing is factory direct discount fleet pricing regardless of the size of your company. I started this company for every woman (person) that said to me, "I hate buying cars."

What's the best business advice you ever received? ?Let them go? ?Sometimes the project, situation or client just isn?t a good fit. It?s better to be upfront about that and give a couple referrals than to try to make something work that just wasn?t meant to be.
