We are constantly working at making the only association for working mothers better for you. Because of this, we are making some small changes that have a BIG impact.

The first change is this new weekly newsletter. It's a quick 3-minute read to keep you updated on new benefits, promotions, and news both nationally and in your area. Our national e-magazine will now come out once every two months.

Read below to find out the latest information about business, MIBN, events, members, and more.

The Weekly Giggle

I'd had a pretty hectic day with my four-year-old. When bedtime finally came, I laid down the law: "We're putting on your p.j.s, brushing your teeth, and reading ONE book. Then it's lights out!"

Her arms went around my neck in a gentle embrace, and she said, "We learned in Sunday school about little boys and girls who don't have mommies and daddies."

Even after I'd been such a grouch, I thought, she was still grateful to have me. I felt tears begin to well up in my eyes, and then she whispered, "Maybe you could go be THEIR mom?"

National News

Millionaire Mom Workbook is coming The Women Managing Those Dollar$ - Financial Education Conference for Women was a huge success! We had over 190 registrants. We are currently updating the workbook to include information from the conference and it will be available for free-download in September, so if you were unable to make it, you can still get this valuable information.

CBS Drama Focuses on Working Mom The CBS Drama, Close To Home coming this fall focuses on the life of a woman who goes back to work as a lawyer after she has had her first child. We got to see the advance copy of the show and all agree that it identifies the issues of working moms and yet still has a good story. We're curious to see if this show increases awareness of the issues working moms face every day.
